Tóm tắt lịch sử của Platform Games

Mặc dù không phải một ý tưởng ban đầu, Donkey Kong trở nên nổi tiếng với việc phổ biến các platfomer vào năm 1981 sau một trò chơi tương tự có tựa là Space Panic (1980). Nhớ rằng, chúng ta đang nói về các tủ aracde. Sau đó Donkey Kong Jr. (1982) và Mario Bros. (1983) đã giúp Nintendo chuyển từ các tủ arcade sang consoles! Họ cũng phát hành Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) vào năm 1983. Các consoles thế hệ thứ hai như Sega Genesis, Super NES, và một vài năm sau đó là Playstation đã cải tiến trên các game platform với các tựa game như Super Mario World (1990), Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), và Crash Bandicoot (1996).
